App Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the GameReel mobile application
(the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect
information when you use the App.
1. Summary
GameReel is designed to work primarily on your device. You do not need an
account to use the App. Screen recordings and edited clips are stored locally
on your phone unless you choose to save an export to your photo library.
2. Information we collect
- Screen recordings and audio — When you start a recording, the App captures your device screen and, if enabled, microphone audio. Recordings are saved on your device.
- Photos library — If you export a clip, the App saves the finished video to your photo library with your permission.
- App settings & usage credits — Preferences such as recording quality and daily export credits are stored locally on your device.
- Advertising data — We use Google AdMob to show banner and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
- Support communications — If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
3. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not upload your raw screen recordings to our servers as part of normal App use.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we use information
- Provide recording, editing, music mixing, and export features
- Enforce daily export limits and rewarded-ad credit grants
- Display and measure advertisements
- Improve stability and fix bugs
- Respond to support requests
5. Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Screen recording / Broadcast — to capture gameplay or screen content
- Microphone — optional, for voice or in-game audio capture
- Photo library — to save exported clips you create
- Notifications — optional, for recording or processing status
You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.
6. Third-party services
- Google AdMob — advertising (Google Privacy Policy)
- Google Firebase — may be used for app infrastructure and legal document hosting
- Music previews — royalty-free preview tracks may be downloaded temporarily from third-party CDNs for playback and export
7. Data retention
Recordings and sessions remain on your device until you delete them in the App
or remove the App. Export credit balances reset according to the App's daily
rules. Ad partners may retain data according to their own policies.
8. Children's privacy
GameReel is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your
country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If
you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect systems we control. No method
of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing
your device and exported content.
10. International users
If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed
in countries where we or our service providers operate, including the United States.
11. Your choices & rights
- Delete local recordings in the App or Library
- Revoke permissions in iOS/Android settings
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device's advertising settings where available

12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised
version at this URL and update the effective date above.
